Here's an interesting twist to your research. I have never had eczema, but after my knee replacement in November I seem to have developed it on my forehead. It's red and gets flaky and dry. An esthetician said she thought it was a result of the surgery. Weird?!? But anyway, knee surgery is great. Harder than hip (i've had that, too) but totally worth it. Good luck with it!
